31 August 2026 - We’re Looking Forward to BounceCamp in Buckingham This September

September is almost here, and one event we’re particularly looking forward to is our three-day BounceCamp weekend at Buckingham Cricket Club. From Friday 11th to Sunday 13th September, we’ll be bringing a large inflatable park, climbing wall, zip line, food and plenty of activities to Buckingham for a weekend that includes both an adults-only evening and daytime family sessions.

It is now getting very close, which means the team is busy preparing equipment, organising the site layout and getting everything ready for three days at Buckingham Cricket Club, Bourton Road, Buckingham, MK18 1BG.

If you have never been to one of our events before, take a look at our inflatable theme park to get a better idea of the type of large-scale inflatable setup BounceCamp brings to its temporary venues.

Why are we excited about the Buckingham weekend?

One of the things we enjoy about taking BounceCamp to different locations is seeing a completely new venue turn into an inflatable park. Buckingham Cricket Club gives us plenty of space to create a varied layout rather than relying on one or two attractions.

The Buckingham weekend will include giant inflatable obstacle courses, large slides, interactive games, a climbing wall and a zip line. Visitors will be able to move between different activities during their booked session rather than spending the whole visit in one part of the park.

It is exactly the type of setup we enjoy putting together, with enough variety for different ages and groups to choose the activities that suit them.

Families looking for similar activities throughout the year can also browse family day out ideas and kids fun days across the BounceCamp website.

What is happening on Friday 11th September?

Friday evening starts the Buckingham weekend with something slightly different. The inflatable park will open for a dedicated adults-only session for visitors aged 16 and over.

The three-hour evening session gives adults the opportunity to use the inflatables, obstacle courses, climbing wall and zip line without the daytime family audience. There will also be a licensed bar, barbecue and refreshments available during the evening.

We know plenty of adults see the inflatables at family events and would quite happily have a go themselves, so giving the grown-ups their own session makes sense.

The Friday event works particularly well for friendship groups, birthdays, work groups or anyone looking for a different way to spend an evening.

Visitors organising a larger celebration can also look at BounceCamp party packages for other group booking options.

What can families expect on Saturday and Sunday?

After the Friday evening session, the park changes over for two days of family activities on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September.

Family sessions last for two hours and are suitable for children aged four and over. Parents and carers can also join in on suitable attractions where permitted, provided they have the appropriate ticket.

The Buckingham setup is expected to include:

  • Giant inflatable obstacle courses
  • Large inflatable slides
  • Bouncy castles
  • Interactive inflatable games
  • Climbing wall
  • Zip line
  • Open family activity areas

Timed sessions help us manage the number of visitors using the site at once while still providing enough time for families to try different attractions and return to their favourites.

If you enjoy this type of day out, holiday fun and weekend adventures includes more ideas for activities and BounceCamp events taking place at other times of the year.

What food and refreshments will be available?

There will be food and drinks available throughout the Buckingham weekend, including burgers, marinated chicken, snacks and refreshments.

The licensed bar will also be available during the adults-only Friday evening session.

Some venues may apply a small parking charge, typically around £1, so it is worth bringing a little cash with you when attending.

How is BounceCamp preparing for Buckingham?

There is quite a bit that happens before visitors arrive. Inflatables need to be prepared and checked, the site needs to be mapped out, activity areas need to be positioned correctly and staff need to be allocated across the different parts of the event.

That preparation is part of what allows us to take BounceCamp from one location to another while maintaining a structured event format.

Once everything is inflated and the gates open, visitors see the finished park. For us, seeing an empty venue become a large bouncy park is one of the best parts of running these events.

Is there still time to book the Buckingham event?

Yes, but the weekend is getting closer and tickets are allocated by individual session. If you already know which day you would like to attend, booking ahead is the best way to secure your preferred time.

Everyone using the inflatable equipment requires a valid ticket for their selected session.

If you need help choosing a session, arranging a group visit or checking anything before attending, visit Contact Bounce Camp, call 01525 455 765 or email info@bouncecamp.co.uk.

We’re looking forward to getting everything set up at Buckingham Cricket Club and seeing families, groups and adults enjoying the park from Friday 11th through to Sunday 13th September.
