After a busy run of summer events, our attention has now turned to the next big date on the BounceCamp calendar. On Monday 26 October 2026, we will be at Robert Bloomfield Academy in Shefford for our Army Inflatable Day, and preparations are already well underway.
Taking place during October half-term, this one is a little different from our larger open inflatable park events. We are combining plenty of the big inflatable activities people expect from BounceCamp with organised Nerf games and a military-themed setup.
Tickets are currently available for just £10 per person, reduced from the usual £13, so now is a good time to get your October half-term plans sorted.
Take a look at Army Inflatable Day Shefford Oct 26th for tickets and current session availability.
What Are We Planning for Shefford on October 26th?
The idea behind Army Inflatable Day is to give children several different ways to get involved rather than simply creating one large bounce area.
At the centre of the event will be our inflatable Nerf arena. Players will use soft Nerf blasters and foam darts as they take part in organised games around inflatable bunkers, cover points and obstacles.
Beyond the Nerf arena, we are planning a wider selection of activities that can include:
- Large inflatable assault courses
- Mega slides
- Open bounce areas
- Inflatable sports challenges
- Foam axe throwing
- Multi-activity inflatables
- Military-themed features
It means children can switch between organised games and the wider inflatable activities during their visit rather than spending the whole session doing the same thing.
Why Are We Looking Forward to This October Event?
One of the things we enjoy about running a touring programme is being able to change the format throughout the year.
Summer lends itself to our large outdoor inflatable theme park events, but October gives us an opportunity to do something more themed. The Army Inflatable Day brings together obstacle-style activities, team games and inflatable play in a format that fits particularly well with half-term.
It is suitable for children aged 4+, so we are expecting a mixture of younger visitors, older children, groups of friends and families attending together.
Our team will supervise the main activity areas, with Nerf equipment provided and a briefing given before the organised games begin.
October Half-Term Is Getting Closer
It might only be 18 September as we write this, but October half-term has a habit of arriving quickly.
If you already know you will be looking for something active for the children, it is worth getting a date into the diary now. BounceCamp events use timed sessions with limited availability rather than unrestricted admission throughout the day.
The current £10 special offer also makes this a good point to book rather than leaving everything until the week of the event.
You can browse October Events for our autumn programme or Weekend & Half-Term Activities for more ideas when planning time away from school.
Where Is Army Inflatable Day Taking Place?
We will be setting up at:
Robert Bloomfield Academy
Bloomfield Drive
Shefford

Drinks and snacks will be available on site. Visitors should also consider bringing a small amount of cash in case a parking charge applies at the venue.

And Then It Is Nearly Christmas...
Shefford may be our next major event, but it certainly is not the end of the 2026 BounceCamp calendar.
Once October half-term is finished, attention turns towards our festive programme and December Events. We already have Christmas inflatable dates planned for families looking for something active in the final few days before Christmas.
Christmas Inflatable Fun in Milton Keynes
On 21 December, BounceCamp heads to The Webber Independent School in Milton Keynes for a Christmas inflatable event built around two-hour family sessions.
The seasonal setup is planned to combine Christmas-themed inflatables with bounce areas, obstacle courses, larger attractions and festive elements around the venue.
It gives families another option when schools have finished and the countdown to Christmas Day is properly underway.
Families who regularly look for activities in the area can also browse Milton Keynes inflatable park, Milton Keynes inflatable theme park and things to do with kids in Milton Keynes.
Berkhamsted Follows on December 22nd
The following day, 22 December, our Christmas setup moves to Ashlyns School in Berkhamsted.
Again, the event is planned around two-hour sessions, with Christmas-themed inflatable attractions alongside activities for different age groups.
Running the Milton Keynes and Berkhamsted events on consecutive days gives families two opportunities to fit a BounceCamp visit into the final part of the Christmas break-up period.
Both dates can be found through December Events as ticket availability is released and updated.
From Summer Inflatables to Nerf Battles and Christmas Events
2026 has given us the opportunity to take BounceCamp to a variety of locations and run several different event formats. Our summer programme focused heavily on large inflatable parks, while the next few months bring themed half-term and Christmas sessions into the calendar.
That variety is important to us. BounceCamp is a touring programme of ticketed events, so we are able to adapt the attractions and format to the venue, season and type of event we are running.
If you joined us during July Events or August Events, thank you for being part of the summer. We are now getting everything ready for the next stage.
